I still can't believe Bayonetta sold that much. Just wow. Unexpected.
@Saaking, may I ask what you mean by quality?
Everyone here complains that COD MW2's quality sucks, and that BFBC2 will be much better. While I somewhat agree with that (I'm buying BC2 day 1), MW2 does not lack quality. It's superbly polished. If there's anything wrong with it, it's the predominance of glitches and maybe some gameplay aspects. And I don't think that counts in the quality of the product.
As for Halo, it simply doesn't appeal to everyone. You're saying...
You would probably get that kind of reply from me, but then again, I have no right to say such a thing, as I don't own a Wii.
Take a bubble for undeservedly losing some.
This is so dam funny, makes me want to buy it.
From what I played at my friend's place, the gameplay is quite solid. Graphics are not great, but not distracting, and the leader mechanics work quite well. But BFBC2 is still above it in my opinion.
I haven't seen any hype nor marketing around Dante's Inferno... other than that weird marketing scheme during E3.
Sony made a really good decision investing in all those first party studios. They went quite far pushing graphics on consoles. Uncharted 2 holy f*ck.
I just wish their profits were higher. If you think about it, the xbox 360 had a pretty great year (profit-wise) with only 1-2 great games and no significant hardware overhaul, as opposed to Sony's equally great year with a major hardware redesign and how many exclusive AAA games?
If Sony's games sold Halo numbers, Micr...

On topic: Halo doesn't necessarily need a revival. It does need some core changes in its gameplay and appeal to some newer audiences - graphic whores, 256 PLAYERS OMG!!! players, and maybe COD players.
Yep, a beta would help immensely.
Even the BFBC2 beta on PS3 was cleaner than MW2.
